How to check your registration online
NSW
- You can check your registration through the New South Wales Government's Service NSW website.
- Information needed: Vehicle plate number, possibly your driver's license or registration notice.
- Obtaining registration in New South Wales requires:
- A pink slip, which is a safety inspection report, for vehicles older than five years.
- CTP insurance, which is also known as a ‘Green Slip’.
- In New South Wales, Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance must be purchased separately before registration.
QLD
- You can check your registration through the Queensland Government website.
- Information needed: Vehicle plate number, registration number, or customer reference number.
- A Safety Certificate is required for transferring registration or selling a vehicle.
- You can choose from three CTP insurers when renewing your registration in Queensland. Allianz is one of these insurers.
SA
- You can check your registration online through the South Australian Government’s EasyReg website.
- Information needed: Registration number or vehicle plate number
- You can choose from five CTP insurers when you renew your registration in South Australia. Allianz is one of these insurers

VIC
- You can check your registration online through the Victorian Government's Vic Roads website.
- Information needed: Vehicle registration number.
- In Victoria, CTP insurance is included in Victorian vehicle registration.
WA
- You can check your registration online through the Western Australian Government's DotDirect website.
- Information needed: Vehicle registration number.
- CTP insurance is included in Western Australia vehicle registration.
NT
- You can check your registration online through the Northern Territory Government website.
- Information needed: Registration number or vehicle plate number.
- CTP insurance is included in Northern Territory vehicle registration.
TAS
- You can check your registration online through the Tasmanian Government website.
- Information needed: Registration number or vehicle plate number.
- CTP insurance is included in Tasmanian vehicle registration.
ACT
- You can check your registration online through the ACT Government's Access Canberra website.
- Information needed: Registration number or vehicle plate number.
- You can choose from four CTP insurers when you renew your registration in the Australian Capital Territory. Allianz isn’t one of these insurers.
