- For the second year in a row, Allianz has won the Personal Lines category for excellence in claims-handling at the insurance industry’s esteemed Mansfield Awards. Allianz was also proudly a finalist for the Gold Mansfield.
The fifth annual awards, organised by Insurance News and LMI Group, promote the critical role that claims professionals play across the insurance industry and recognise those achieving excellence in the field. The awards are named in honour of the British Lord Chief Justice who introduced the industry to the principle of uberrima fides (utmost good faith) approximately 250 years ago.
Commenting on the win, Brendan Dunne, Chief Customer and Operations Officer at Allianz Australia, said, “It’s a privilege to be recognised a second year running as winners of the Personal Lines category, and as finalists of the Gold Mansfield at the Mansfield Awards. At Allianz, we understand Australians have faced a number of challenges these past 18-months. In response to our rapidly changing environment, increasing competition, changing customer and community expectations, we have adapted and evolved.
“We have made significant advancements in our claim handling process – spanning robust empathy training for our people to better support customers, especially those experiencing vulnerabilities, as well as investment towards our technology to streamline processes. This recognition is testament to the dedication and passion of our people and partners, and will serve as motivation to continually elevate our services and products to meet the evolving needs of Australians.”
Allianz is proud to have protected Australians for over 100 years, and is behind its customers for what’s ahead. For more information, visit Allianz Australia.
