Allianz Australia is pleased to announce the appointment of Jodi Fullarton-Healey as General Counsel and Chief General Manager, Corporate Governance, from 1 April 2021. In addition, Helen Silver AO, who is currently Chief General Manager, Corporate Governance and Conduct, will move to the newly created role of Deputy Managing Director.
Jodi joins Allianz with 30 years’ experience in the legal sector, gained both in-house and in law firms; in Australia as well as internationally. Jodi has deep expertise in financial services, which has seen her engage with relevant regulatory authorities, government bodies and external consultants.
Having worked at ANZ Bank for the past 12 years in General Counsel roles for Institutional banking, Jodi has extensive experience in large and complex financial services organisations. At ANZ, Jodi was responsible for legal services provided to the Institutional business globally, leading a team of approximately 100 lawyers located across four continents. Prior to ANZ, Jodi worked at law firm, Blake Dawson (now Ashurst) for 18 years, with the last 11 years as a Partner, working primarily in the areas of Corporate, Structured Asset and Project Financing. During her tenure at Blake Dawson, Jodi re-located to China for three years to establish the Shanghai office, and then returned to Australia to continue representing leading financial services institutions.
