For the second consecutive year, Allianz Australia has won the Gold Mansfield Award for excellence in claims-handling at this year’s Mansfield Awards ceremony, held in Sydney yesterday evening.
In addition to taking home the top prize, Allianz was a winner in the personal lines category, and won the SME property and casualty for the second year in a row.
The third annual awards, organised by Insurance News and LMI Group, promote the critical role that claims professionals play across the insurance industry and recognise those achieving excellence and good faith in this sector. Winners and finalists are determined through official reports and anonymous surveys conducted by LMI.
Accepting the award on behalf of Allianz was Brendan Dunne, Chief Customer Services Officer, who noted the uniqueness of these awards and the hard work of all Allianz claims employees being recognised.
“The Mansfield Awards are determined by a broad range of industry stakeholders, and through reports, making them a true and real testament to the quality of our people and their hard work,” said Dunne.
“Winning three awards for overall excellence in claims-handling, SME property and casualty, and personal lines shows the positive impact Allianz employees are having in the moments that really matter. It’s not always easy to navigate the complexity of claims management, and I’m proud of our people for constantly working towards improving the claims journey for our customers and partners.”
