Born in Logan City Qld, Mollie’s competitive swimming career kicked off at just seven years old. By 15 years old, Mollie made her international debut at the 2019 World Championships in Budapest, shortly followed by her first Olympic Games at Tokyo 2020, where she took home two gold medals. Now, at the age of 19, Mollie has her eyes set on the Olympic Games Paris 2024.
Mollie is best known for making history at the 2023 World Championships in Fukuoka becoming the first woman in history to win gold medals in both the 100m and 200m freestyle events. She won a further three gold medals and set a new world record in the 200m freestyle event.
